About me
Hello, I'm Kat. I'm an integrative counsellor and Counselling Psychologist, currently in my final year of my doctorate degree.
For many years, I’ve been fascinated by the complexities of psychology, the challenges we face in life, and the ways in which we adapt, grow, and find meaning. I believe in the idea that becoming a therapist is a journey—one that is never truly finished, but always evolving. I’m deeply passionate about continuous learning and self-development, both personally and professionally.
Having grown up in Poland and worked extensively in culturally diverse environments, I bring a strong cultural awareness to my therapeutic practice.
I understand firsthand the profound impact that culture, upbringing, and societal context can have on how we experience and navigate life’s challenges.
I am committed to creating a therapeutic space that respects and celebrates diversity, where our different characteristics are acknowledged and valued.
Over time, my knowledge and experience have led me to understand that the challenges we face in life shape who we are. Each of us carries a unique vision of reality, influenced by our upbringing, culture, and the world around us. This personal worldview impacts our beliefs, values, and the choices we make. The therapeutic relationship offers a space to explore this worldview, helping us open up to new perspectives, face our fears, and find deeper meaning in our lives.
I believe that at the heart of therapy is a relationship built on trust, respect, and collaboration. Together, we can navigate the difficulties you’re facing, uncovering insights and supporting your growth.
The challenges we face in life are not uncommon, and often, they bring us to a point where seeking support feels like a difficult, yet courageous step. While asking for help can feel uncomfortable, it also opens the door to a journey of self-discovery. In this space, we can explore the unknown parts of our mind, where healing and positive change can begin to unfold.
If you’re ready to explore what’s possible, I’m here to walk alongside you.
